Every Child Matters

Today, as we commemorate the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we reflect on the long-standing history of abhorrent injustices inflicted upon Indigenous Peoples across Canada and the piercing, unresolved legacy of residential schools that remains. We honour the survivors of these atrocities, those we lost, their families, and their communities, and we recognize the urgent work and profound learning that must take place within our nation to nurture healing and meaningful reconciliation. 🧡

It is imperative that we all partake in remembrance, reflection, action, and learning today – and every day – to work collaboratively toward enacting real change and a more equitable future for Indigenous Peoples in Canada. #DoSomething#EveryChildMatters
